City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii State Departments of Education,
Health and Public Safety and the Department of Vocational
Rehabilitation.
With two locations on Oahu, Kailua and Aiea, HCEC is widely respected for its quality of services and its highly experienced, multicultural staff.
Philosophy
The counseling and other programs offered are designed to teach people how they can easily access their mental health on a moment to moment basis. This is accomplished by helping people to understand basic, “common sense” principles of how thought works and how feelings and emotions are created. As clients gain an understanding of themselves and how they function psychologically, they can reduce stress, make positive changes and enjoy life more fully.
